At UK Travel Designers we do not sell off-the-shelf tours that may, or may not, have all the components you require for your unique group. We will listen and work with you to ensure that we create the perfect itinerary to match your budget. Below is an overview of some of the more popular destinations and locations.
London and Southern England
A cultural tour incorporating all the major sights of London. A visit to the traditional home of the British Monarchy in Windsor and a fascinating day trip to the celebrated university town of Cambridge. Other highlights include Stonehenge, Globe Theatre, Tower of London, The London Eye and The Houses of Parliament.
England and Scotland
A classic British tour incorporating Shakespeare’s Stratford upon Avon, the Viking city of York, the English Lakes, inspiration to many writers and poets. The tour concludes in the Scottish capital city, Edinburgh, which is widely regarded as Europe’s most handsome capital with its striking medieval and Georgian districts. An option to travel further into Scotland, perhaps incorporate the Scottish Highlands and Western Isles where you learn about clans and tartans, bagpipes and whisky.
Ireland
A tour of the beautiful ‘Emerald Isle’; famous for its pastoral countryside, thatched cottages, lively pubs, traditional music, stunning coastline, charming towns and historic castles. Dublin, its capital city, boasts medieval and Georgian buildings alongside modern architecture which provides a backdrop to this friendly city, that vibrates with youthful energy.
Wales
Wales is a country of outstanding natural beauty with a rugged coastline, mountainous national parks, a distinctive Welsh language and Celtic culture. Coupled with a rich musical heritage it is a fabulous destination to tour, and for musical groups to perform. A variety of venues from stunning Cathedrals, local parish churches and concert halls where a warm Welsh welcome awaits. Spend a few days in Wales which we can combine with a Southern or Northern England ‘tale of two countries’ itinerary.
